CES 2006

Here I am at CES, at the Creative Labs booth trying out their video Blogging program and webcam. I will post more pics later and tell more about the show. (01/05/06-I did this at the show) Follow the link to me-being-stupid-Vlog I did there.

-CES Update-
Well after spending 3 days at a "techie-Wet-dream Convention" (CES) and getting in this morning, I finally have some time to post pics and tell of the coolest products for the upcoming year that I saw there.

To start out I will save the story of how we (Brandon and I) got in for another time or something, and just post pics of the cooler things we saw.

The iPod Killer

I was set on the iPod Video until I saw this posted a couple days before the show. I decided to wait until I saw this in person. Since it is not available in the U.S. yet. When I saw it at CES, I loved it and decided this was a better way to go, than to bow down to Apple. Plus at the show I got $50 off!!! Can't complain about that.


Microsoft VISTA
This was pretty cool, and I'm pretty excited about it. The best thing about CES is that you talk to people who have a say in these things. For example, the guy who gave us the presentation on Vista was project manager for the My Pictures build of Vista. It was cool giving him feedback on certain features and asking questions that he knew how to answer.
You can see in this picture a little of what Vista will look like, along with the Tags feature that will allow you to better find info on your hard drive.

Another side note: I went down by myself, but I had the nice surprise of my wife Jenni secretly flying down on Thursday and surprising me. That was great. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of her hiding and scaring half to death at her sisters house.
