CES 2010

Well, just like in 2006, 2007, and 2008 (I traded CES 2009 for this), Brandon and I hit up CES 2010 and it was eventful and promising in the world of gadgets for the upcoming year.
The highlights?
To sum it up briefly it was:
Open Source platforms like Boxee, Android and Moblin.
A lot of E-readers
The one downside was the apparent lack of SWAG, but I guess that's the first to go when companies are watching their dollar more closely. We never found the Creative booth which usually ends up in a few good stories, but it was probably for our best. We spent an entire day roaming the convention floor checking out the latest and greatest, and the show was a little smaller than in years past as one would expect.
What made the trip to Las Vegas even more memorable was staying with family and celebrating Jenn's 30th Birthday in style at the M Casino, which is awesome, not the roulette tables, but the buffet. Thanks to Brandon and Kiley for going and recommending that place for dinner.

While we there we visited the newly opened City Center and was completely blown away at the architecture and finishes
that place has. It was pretty wild.
All in all, a great time, to which I am already looking forward to next year.
